A full bore safety valve(Hants Model HSK) is a type of pressure relief device designed to rapidly and fully vent excess pressure in high-pressure systems to prevent catastrophic failure. It achieves a "full bore" design, meaning the valve opening is the same size as the pipe's inner diameter, to maximize discharge flow. These valves are essential in high-risk environments where a quick and complete release of pressure is critical, often featuring a main valve and a pilot valve to ensure rapid and complete opening.
Hants is a sub-brand of us. As a professional manufacturer of full bore safety relief valve and replacement parts, supplying reliable fire protection solutions for various industries.
Full-lift safety valves are primarily used for relieving pressure from steam, air, or particulate-free, low-viscosity gases, and their large release capacity makes them suitable for high-pressure equipment like steam boilers.

Different types of Design and Disc Material Selections
"Full bore" design, meaning the valve opening is the same size as the pipe's inner diameter, to maximize discharge flow. Full-lift safety valves are widely used in industries requiring large-volume pressure relief, such as steam boilers, pressure vessels, and pressure pipelines, including energy and power, petrochemicals, heavy manufacturing, shipbuilding, and marine engineering.
Full bore PRV is a pressure relief valve in which the bore area is equal to the flow area at the inlet to the valve and there are no protrusions in the bore. And Reduced bore PRV is a pressure relief valve in which the flow path area below the seat is less than the flow area at the inlet to the valve.
