The RDT pressure reducing valve has two materials for option: SS304 and Bronze. Bronze is good for max. applied pressure 12 bar; however, SS304 is available for pressure 16 bar. The spring cover made from Polyamide 66, which is lightweight and simplifies storage and transportation cost saving. It is available to install in horizontal and vertical directions, suitable applied for water, air and gases.
Fully compliant with Malaysia SIRIM and SPAN approval, this ensured the pressure reducing valve's quality and its applications.
In a fire protection system installed at a police station in Malaysia, our bronze direct acting pressure reducing valve (Model RDT) was selected to regulate and stabilize outlet water pressure when it entered the fire protection pipeline.
The valve features a spring cover made from Polyamide 66, offering high strength, excellent heat resistance and a lightweight structure for easy handling and installation.
Engineered for precise pressure control of both gases and liquids, Model RDT is ideally suited for fire protection and water supply systems. In this application, the valve met the client’s requirements for durability, reliability and operational safety—proving its effectiveness in a critical public safety setting.
Our Direct Acting Pressure Reducing Valve SS304 / Bronze can be installed both in horizontal and in vertical.
It depends on the frequency of the PRV operation. Basically, for clean water application, 4-5 years to replace the inner seals is ok.
This model is not suitable for steam application. For steam, we suggest our model RET/REF SS316 Direct Acting Pressure Reducing Valve.
